| Local anesthesia is used to minimize discomfort. Twilight anesthesia is also available, as well as Oral Anesthesia.

| Weeks are calculated from the first day of the last normal menstrual period (LNMP).

| Surgical abortions are done 6-19 weeks from the first day of your last menstrual period in the PG office.
|

| Abortions are offered electively to viability in the Germantown office. Post viability abortion services for Maternal and Fetal Indications are also offered in the Germantown office upon approval of the Physician.

| Non-Surgical abortions (pill) are offered between 5 and 9 weeks from the last menstrual period.
|

| If you think you might be pregnant, have a pregnancy test as soon as possible.

| To make an appointment, call us on weekdays from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm or on Saturday from 7:00 am to 11:00 am, or use our Online Appointment System.

| Abortion services are offered by appointment only.

| If your blood type is Rh negative, you will need an injection to prevent problems in future pregnancies. We offer this injection for an additional fee.

| Please shower or bathe on the day of your appointment.
|

| Wear loose comfortable clothing - something with an elastic waistband.
|

| Plan to be here 2-3 hours.

| Please bring a picture i.d. to your appointment.

| Do not bring valuables to your appointment. Cash, jewelry, etc., should be left at home.

| Fees are subject to change. All fees are paid by cash or major credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

| If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Failure to do so could result in a fee.
